John Murakami is a special agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations
(HSI) and has served in that capacity since February 2007. Previously, he served as a field officer with the Immigration
and Naturalization Service (INS), Detention and Removal Office for approximately 9 years. John is a certified instructor
in fraudulent document detection. Currently, John is assigned to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit and is the
San Diego IMAGE (ICE Mutual Agreement Between Government and Employers) Coordinator.
