| GET IN THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS What is TERC? TERC, formerly the Hidden Valley Republican Club, was founded in 1984 by Escondido men and women interested in political matters viewed from a conservative perspective. Our Mission TERC is a political organization dedicated to voter education relating to candidates for elected office and issues affecting residents of Escondido and surrounding communities. Program Time: Doors open at 11:30 a.m. so come early to meet the new members. Lunch begins at 12:00 p.m. Location Cocina Del Charro 525 North Quince Street Escondido, 92025 Menu Choices Buffet lunch includes tostada bar, enchiladas, beans, rice and salad. December Program: Escondido Fire Chief Vic Reed will discuss the recent fires and the lessons we have learned from them. Chief Reed is a 35 year veteran of the fire service, starting his fire career as a volunteer firefighter with the Poway Fire Department as a junior in high school. Chief Reed started his tenure with the Escondido Fire Department in 1979 as a firefighter and has served in the capacity of Firefighter Paramedic, Fire Captain and Division Chief, prior to accepting his current position as Chief in 1997.
