What is TERC?

TERC, formerly the Hidden Valley Republican Club, was founded in 1984 by Escondido men and women interested in political matters viewed from a conservative perspective.

Our Mission

TERC is a political organization dedicated to voter education relating to candidates for elected office and issues affecting residents of Escondido and surrounding communities.

Program Time:

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. so come early to meet the new members.

Lunch begins at 12:00 p.m.

Menu Choices

Buffet lunch includes tostada bar, enchiladas, beans, rice and salad.

April Program – Raymond J. Liddy…Please join us at the meeting to meet Raymond J. Liddy.  Ray, an attorney, is the son of G. Gordon Liddy and is a Lt. Col. in the Marine Corps Reserves.  Ray will be relating his experiences from his time in the military and his deployment to the Middle East and will also give us insight into Washington politics.  Please visit TERC’s website at www.escondidorepublicanclub.org for the full version of Ray’s very impressive biography and join us at the meeting to meet Ray in person.

New Members…TERC would like to welcome our newest members to the club.  New members include Garth & Judy Carle, Sophie Clark, Lyle Davis, James Keck, Virginia "Ginny" Newland-Field, and Mo & Dianne Wright.

Membership Renewal…Club memberships MUST be renewed.  If you have not already done so, please renew your membership ASAP, otherwise you will be removed from the membership list.  Renewal forms will be available at the meeting.

Memorial Service for Mary Ann Fulton…On a sad note, we recently lost longtime TERC member Mary Ann Fulton, who died on March 7.  A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, April 14, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, S. Juniper St. & Idaho Ave., Escondido.  A reception in the church's Fellowship Hall will follow the service.
